Our Policies

• Order requests are worked and received on a first come first served basis. 
• Once order request is received we will respond within a few hours during business hours. Outside of business hours, you will receive a response within 24 hours or the next business day.
• Once the invoice is sent response(in the form of payment of non-refundable deposit & signed contract) is required within 48 hours for order to be booked.
•  If there is no response within 48 hours, the order request will be discarded.

• The date of event is considered "booked" upon receipt of non-refundable deposit equaling 25% of the total value of the cake. 
• The final payment is due 7 days prior to the event.
• If the cake is booked 7 days or less before event, the depost will equal 100% of the cost plus rush fee of $50.00.
• If final payment is not received 7 days prior to the event, the Baker will cease work, the order will be cancelled and no refund given.
• Holiday Sales/Flash Events will require full payment to secure booking.

• The final design of the cake will be based on the Baker's creative interpretation and structural necessity for the cake.
• Changes to design may be required for the sake of stability, structural integrity, or other necessity.

• The Client is responsible for cake order pickup on the agreed upon pickup day and time on the invoice.
• The baker is not responsible if the client is delayed/unable to pickup the cake based on accidents, natural disasters, transportation issues, inclement weather, illness, death, or any other circumstance beyond the Bake's control.
• If client doesn't pickup due to uncontrollable circumstances, no refund will be given. Credit for future order or postponement will be at the discretion of the baker.  

• The client must notify the baker if there are any changes to the date of the event or complete cancellation within 7 days of the event
• It is at the discretion of the Baker to accept and provide accommodations for change request.
• Depending on change request the client is aware that there may be additional charges, in which a new invoice will be sent and payment is required within 24 hours..

• If payment for new invoice is not made within 24 hours, than no changes will be implemented & original request/invoice will be upheld.
• If the Baker cannot accomodate change request made within 7 days prior to event, the baker will refund total cost of the cake minus non-refundable deposit.
• In the event that the client cancels 7 days before the event, the Baker will refund total cost of the cake minus the non-refundable deposit.
• There will be no changes allowed 6 days prior to the event.

• If the Baker cannot accomodate change request made within 7 days prior to event, the baker will refund total cost of the cake minus non-refundable deposit.
• In the event that the client cancels 7 days before the event, the Baker will refund total cost of the cake minus the non-refundable deposit.
• There will be no changes allowed 6 days prior to the event.

• The Client acknowledges & accepts that the Cake may contain or come into contact with wheat, milk, nuts, cocoa or other allergens. Natural dyes, artificial dyes, artificial flavorings, sugar, artificial sweeteners, artificial color and other allergens not listed. 

• It is the Clients responsibility to inform guests and other attendees of potential allergy hazards. 

• The Client acknowledges & agrees that they are responsible for ensuring that all non-edible cake décor, including but not limited to, columns, flowers, toppers, card stock images, and wires have been removed from the Cake before it is consumed. 

• If a non-edible portion of the Cake is not removed & either the Client or an attendee of the event, or any other guest consumes any non-edible portion of the Cake, the Baker will not be held liable in any way whatsoever for any damages suffered. 

• If the Client has their own cake toppers/decorations they would like to be placed on the Cake, it must be supplied to the Baker at least 5 days prior to the pickup date. 

• If the Client does not provide the supplies 5 days prior to the pickup date, then it will be the responsibility of the Client to place the supplies on the Cake. The Baker will not be held responsible for any damage to the Cake that may occur because of client self-placement of decorations on the cake. 

• Once the Client has possession of the cake, the Baker is not responsible for any shortage of cake, damages, including: collapse, melting, pokes, etc.
• The Client is responsible for providing a suitable environment for the cake(away from heaters, vibrations, people, suitable temperatures and level surfaces.)
• The Baker is not responsible for any claims of loss, damage liability, or dost arising from the client's breach of contract.

• If the Baker has completed the cake but the Client does not pick up due to uncontrollable circumstances, credit for future order or postponement will be at the discretion of the Baker. If no credit or postponement is agreed upon the Client will be refunded 50% of the total cost, minus the non-refundable deposit.
•  Once the Client picks up the cake, the Baker no longer assumes any responsibility for damage caused to it. 

• Photos and videos of the Cake may be taken for advertising, promotional, and editorial use in both digital and printed materials. In Both digital and print media, full credit will be attributed to the Baker. 

• The Client agrees that the Baker reserves the right to photograph the Cake and photographs will be used by the Baker for business purposes, including but not limited to; social media and advertising.
